I knew, very quickly after I met Ralph that we were going to be good friends. There was something about his approach to life that always seemed to be infectiously positive. I rang him from time to time over the years for business reasons and we always, without one single exception, ended up laughing but not just a bit, I would literally be crying with laughter on the other end of the phone. I will always remember Ralph, his friendship will always be a precious thing to me. He loved his friends and always spoke of his family with words of deep love and pride. I was so touched by the way his lovely family spoke about him at the service with great courage, and my love and thoughts are with them.
